People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.

Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

(Glendale) First of all after being seated, they were setting up for a party of eight and silverware had fallen on the floor, I was astounded when I seen the Asst Mgr pick the setting up from the floor and continue setting the table. The food took forever, seemed like a glorified Taco Bell, if at that. Server was not attentive at all, and I feel is pricey for the experience. Would not go back, nor would we refer to anyone else.

(Chandler) The ambiance is fabulous, but the food is geared to the Midwestern palate--the lowest-common denominator. Salsa: zesty ketchup. Chips: hard, heavy with no taste. Grilled-fish tacos: bland. Guac: gray and lifeless. Napa salad: arrived with fresh red peppers instead of grilled, missing pumpkin seeds, and "charred basil vinaigrette" was a reddish oily mix with sesame seeds, Asian flavor and no basil. Rice: tastes like Uncle Ben's with red coloring. I think Garduno's would be a great stepping stone to the true flavors of Mexico for those new to the cuisine. On the bright side, the margaritas ROCK!

(Glendale) We had reservations for 6:00 on a Frid. and we were seated immediately. The service was fantastic and our server Lori was exceptional. The food was very good and spicy. We are going back soon. NO complaints at all.

(Glendale) WE used to live in Albuquerque and always ate at Gardunos ther on Academy. We were very dissapointed with this Gardunos in Glendale. The service was terrible and the food was bland. What happened to Hatch Chile? Not going back. We'll just go to the one in Scottsdale.

(Glendale) Ridiculously long menu. What style of Mexican is this supposed to be?? We went at 5:00 PM on a Friday. At first service staff is all over you - we had not had our menu open 2 seconds and the server was all over us. Not the story later as the restaurant became busy - after our food came out the server once stoped back by our table until he brought the bill! Food terrible - the fish was water logged and overcooked. the chicken in tortilla soup was chewy. The absolutely most ridiculous things that took the cake however was when the made us box our own food. Yet they have a woman attendant working the the restroom. Not recommended!!!
